No. A photograph records only the features visible from one angle, under lighting and at a scale that may be misleading. Document the top and underside of the cap, the full stem, the uncut base, the growth pattern and the immediate habitat. Add an overall view, sharp details and a size reference without changing the colours. Record what the image cannot show as well. These elements help compare hypotheses, but remote identification remains limited. Never eat a mushroom because of a photograph, an application or an online reply.
