Does MycoRadar identify mushrooms?

MycoWiki answer

Does MycoRadar identify mushrooms?

No. MycoRadar compares outing contexts and provides guides that structure observation, but it does not identify the specimen in front of you. A responsible determination requires examination of the complete mushroom, including the underside, stem, base, growth pattern and any characters relevant to the group being studied. A photograph or visual resemblance can suggest a lead, never a food-safety conclusion. Keep doubtful specimens separate and do not eat them. In Switzerland, have every wild collection intended for a meal inspected by a VAPKO service. A conditions score and an educational guide cannot replace physical examination by a qualified person.
